I am but A Mannequin

I didn't take this photograph. I'm on the girl on the left (stage right to you theatre kids out there) with the blue hair.

So last night was opening night for the show. Everything wet wonderfully, and I could not have asked for a better performance. I love being on the stage. We didn't have a full house, but there were a good amount of people there. We usually get our large audiences on Friday and Saturday nights. But last night was a total blast and I cannot wait to get up on the stage again tonight.

Funny story about the sneak-peak (no pun intended) "invitation only" show. That was on Wednesday night. I'm in the very first dance and we have the cutest costumes. We get to wear these ADORABLE sparkly strapless dresses! Now, I'm a little bit less blessed in some areas of my body that would normally hold up a dress like that. So we stuck some socks in the top of my dress and then used tape to hold it up. You would think that would have kept the top of my dress where it belonged...

Well it didn't. Within the first 30 seconds of the dance my top had fallen to the point where the audience (or well at least the straight male portion of the audience) would have agreed that they got their money's worth. It was pretty embarrassing. I'm glad that I'm wearing a wig so people really can't tell who I am in that dance.

Oh, and I mention that Wednesday evening we video taped the show for the archives? So now my breasts are in the archives. Great.
