I guess one thing that is nice about living in a southern, Christian town is that everyone celebrates Christmas. And the funny thing is that everyone just assumes that you celebrate Christmas, and rather than say "Happy Holidays," they always say, "Merry Christmas." I have to admit that despite this town's lack of political correctness, it's nice to see the decorations going up everywhere... there's a Christmas tree in the main lobby of my work building, and these lovely ribbons are hanging from the lamp posts near the entrance. It just puts me into the Christmas spirit.
