Giant / Midget

This is for the Giant / Midget project. We were told to photograph our partner using the 4x5 camera to make them look like both a giant and a midget in two seperate images. We had to use the tilts and swings of the camera so get the different effects. Adjusting the controls on the camera allows you to change the perspective, and the depth of field in the photograph, so we all really had some fun with this one.

For mine, I decided last minute to print out a human (well small human, because it was my size) sized twenty dollar bill. I had to print it in like 20 differnet sections because my printer would only print one sheet at a time. I ended up taping it together with clear packing tape. In the final image, it really helped to make my partner look a lot smaller. Plus, I used the camera controls to have only one area of the picture in focus...so it almost looks like a macro photograph. I had to turn in two final prints for the project, although I'monly going to post this one because, to be honest, the other one is not worthy of any sort of attention. I don't like how it turned out. But at least one worked!
