So we had to create a high key and a low key image. I decided to use my dance partner as my model. I guess I'm on a flag kick these days...I mean I did just get a flag from Home Depot. I wanted to show the two different sides of a midshipmen; the more serious side that everyone sees when they watch an evening meal formation, and then the crazy, college aged camaraderie that takes place behind the walls. I don't know if my "high Key" portrait is actually high key...i almost think it could be a lot lighter and still be counted as a high key image. I think I should have lit the background more...I love the lighting on on his uniform though...he's not overexposed! The low key is obviously my favorite.
