A document of my years at RIT, followed by a collection of post-collegiate life adventures, and a smattering of photographic projects I've gotten myself involved with.

Third Quarter Final
So this quarter for whatever reason, I decided to carve soap for my final project. I thought it would be a great way to work on my studio lighting skills, and it turned out to work in my favor. I ended up lighting each piece using the "Hosemaster," a fiber-optic lighting contraption made in the 80s (complete with 80s style fanny pack!). I took several photos of each piece of soap with the light coming from different directions. I then put the pictures together so it became one composite image of each figure. Each is made from 5-10 different pictures. I ended up learning a lot about masking and compositing images. These are the most successful ones of the series.
