Broken

I love butterflies! I think they're gorgeous! And it's hilarious how they fly. It's like their wings are too big for them to control, and they are at the wind's mercy. I always wonder how they manage to keep from running into things. Anyway, this one made a safe landing on the butterfly bush in Mom's garden. I had to crawl through the other flowers (covered in bees I might add) in order to crouch down to get this shot. But I'm glad I did. She's so pretty! I feel a little bad for her though. Her wings are broken. But she can still fly. Shortly after this picture was taken, she flew away and landed on another butterfly bush about 20 feet away.
