I had my camera with me this year, so I took a lot of photos before during and after dinner. The portraits at the end of the night were really something. My mom and my brother had a grand old time, and they were laughing so hard... it made for some really great shots.
This one was taken before dinner. I set my camera down on the table and just did a quick lighting check. I think it's my favorite image of the night, and it really conveys a feeling of "is it time to eat yet!?" that we're all too familiar with.
